When Collective We ask for large innovative products of great scale, we often “forget” about the price of the question.

Someone has to put the Product Idea into the world.

Someone has to be a potential customer...

And, accordingly, the operator of the Product for the entire term of service.

And, as a rule, all the mercantile grounds of a potential Customer are reduced to the desire to receive the Product with a deferred payment, and ideally on a schedule, according to the operational Plans stretched for years.

It’s funny, but not a single Customer is ready to give up the desire to receive excessive profits, contrary to all these points.

The example of the construction of the famous Jean Eiffel Tower is a glorious proof of that. Jean won the tender for the construction of a unique structure of its own design. 9.5,000 tons of welded iron were designed to become the world's first construction in height of 350 meters in 2 meters..5 years.

The city of Paris had to be interested in such a technical novelty, and Eiffel was promised payment for the contract, soon after the installation of the first stage of the tower. In fact, it was about the supporting part of the construct. Complex work on the introduction of two towers in amorphous soil near the river forced the designer to solve an extremely complex problem with a caisson camera and additional costs of one million francs...

It is significant that the Paris City Hall refused to pay at the agreed stage and Eiffel was forced to finance more than half of the cost of the working estimate. And if it hadn’t been for the publicity, the building might not have ended.

I must say this is a typical story... There are so many. Who knows how many great designs have been destroyed by vulgar chrematists, against all common sense and design.

When we innovators interpret innovative derivatives, we understand that we are forced to show financial capacity in spite of the Gobseks who sit at the throne of modernity.

All talk about some “seeding” and other stages of innovative development is untenable. It doesn't work...
