"BARS" in the army ranks
No, this is not a large predatory cat with a long, elastic tail. "BARS" is a "combat army system" created within the walls of the Combined Arms Academy of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the initiative of a political science teacher, Colonel Sergey Bogachev. The BARSA Study Group annually accepts newcomers who are eager to master martial arts techniques, master their personal weapons perfectly, acquire training skills and receive the high title of "hand-to-hand and fire combat instructor". But not everyone can do it. So, out of almost four hundred people who crossed the threshold of the gym at different times, only a little more than thirty became instructors. So far, "BARS" does not have an official status in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The system is supported by individual enthusiasts who implement it in the departments and units where they have to serve. But I want to believe that "BARS" will be adequately represented in the army. page 3
